Calibration Block 3-A,B, and C

It has taken me quite awhile to write part three of this message, I assure you it isn’t because I didn’t want to but this has been a very difficult and somewhat intimidating article to write.  As these articles progress it becomes clear the immensity and depth of our calling and what it means to truly examine ourselves with Christ as the measuring stick. Of course non of us will ever be Jesus, but as Christians we are all called to be like Him and if we are truly His then He is transforming us into His image from glory to glory. However sometimes I think many including myself(more often than I care to mention) forget what, and who glory is. Instead we choose to come up with our own definition of what is Christ-like rather than what truly is like Christ. The only real reason that this happens is because all to often we find another glory, something other than Jesus that captures our attention, our focus, and gains our adoration. It takes alot to care and nurture another glory and it is easy for a person to end up serving another master, and obeying the will of something that is in opposition to the will of God.  In this third part of the calibration block, the will of God is going to be the issue. The question that was posed at the end of part two of the calibration block was, what are the three reasons that Jesus gives that the people of Matthew 7: 21-23 were not allowed to enter the Kingdom of Heaven? These are the people who had prophesied in Jesus name, cast out demons, and in Jesus name had performed many miracles and yet they were not allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven by the very Jesus by whom they had done all these spiritual works. So in review, the three reasons are, 1) They were not doing the will of the Father(even if they were doing the things that are supposed to be done for God). 2) Jesus says He doesn’t even know them. and 3) they practiced lawlessness.  Since these three reasons cover so much space I decided to tackle them one at a time in three separate ‘sub articles’, and since I have had such a hard time writing this final part of the calibration block, I have decided to do this via video rather than write it. The video has it’s challenges but it is the first of many to come, so please click ‘play’ and see if the Word of God and the Spirit of God aren’t speaking the very same things to you.

I am going to add all three of the Calibration Part three videos to this one post so that all three will be stored together. So here is part 3-B. This video has it’s ‘hot spots’ all the way to the end. I really enjoyed this part.

Last but not least here is section C to part three, I hit a couple of side note rabbit trails on this one, but not too bad, and I always get right back to the point, there is some good stuff in this video that you don’t want to miss if you have been watching the series. As far as the rabbit trails, I will get better I promise.

The Calibration Block(part 2)

Calibration Block (part 2)

So just to re-cap from the first part of this message, let me once again define in my own words what calibration is. Calibration is simply bringing anything, any tool, any devise, or any appliance into alignment with a standard value. In other words calibration means making something accurate and true. Calibration could involve making an oven read accurate temperatures in it’s display, so that whatever temperature it reads is exactly the temperature that is in the oven. Calibration could involve tuning a piano to play the right notes in accordance with the right keys. Or it could involve getting a rifle to be dead on with it’s rifle scope at 100 yards. No matter how you look at it calibration is alignment of a tool with a separate guide or ‘standard’. In the case of the oven, the display reading will have to be tuned with a master temp gauge that actually goes in the oven and reads the temp directly(this tool also has to be calibrated). The piano will have to be tuned to calibrated set of tuning forks by a master tuner or he will use an electronic devise, and, you guessed it, even those tools have to be calibrated. And the rifle will be made to come into alignment with the scope using a laser boresighting tool.

For those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ calibration simply means coming into alignment with the Word of God. And even more specifically into alignment with Jesus Himself. And why is that? Because Jesus Himself is the Word. Why just read John 1: 1-15, the Bible in one way or another is a testimony of Jesus Himself on many different levels. So much so that it is easy to see why He is called ‘the Living Word’. We are called to come into alignment with Jesus because He is the Living Word of God. We are called to be dead to this World and alive in Jesus Christ. After all the first commandment Jesus ever gave to His Disciples was “follow me”, make no mistake about it, when He said follow me He meant leave your life and and find your life in me. He wanted them to believe and follow His Words AND His actions to the point that all who followed Him emulated His very life. In this way we who follow Jesus become a light unto the World just as He was a light unto the World. But we are not a ‘true’ light if we are not ‘in calibration’ with the master, and that is Christ Himself. So in order to be calibrated to Jesus we must come into exact direct alignment with His Word. And I do mean His Word and not our own definition of what His Word should be in our opinion, but what is actually there. Many people find this to be challenging to say the least and some see it as impossible. Because they want both the World and Jesus, but as Jesus said “no one can serve two Masters for he will either hate the one and love the other, or love the one and hate the other”.

Most ‘challenging’ Bible teaching is done just to show rebellious people that they have a problem with God and they need to change, this is even the root of the salvation message. Many rebellious people don’t seem to be angrily or purposefully rebellious, but then their rebellion is against God because in their heart they don’t feel God is loving or understanding enough and therefore He is the one that needs to change and not them. And yet they will hide this from themselves trying to believe they have no problem with God, that is until His Word ends up right in their face showing them God in yet one more way they didn’t really want to see Him. So they make up all kinds of personal little doctrines to make God appear more ‘loving’ in their own eyes.

And why? Because they want to judge God Himself using their own heart and feelings as a measuring stick for His Word. So inevitably their Bibles will gather dust while their refrigerator begins to get covered with all kinds of pretty new magnets containing misconstrued scriptures and heart felt little sayings that are later mistaken for scripture itself in their own minds. In fact you can take choice little pieces of scripture from all different places in the Bible and stick them all together to form a ‘new Gospel’ that sounds similar to the one found in God’s Word but is really just a twisting of His own Words in His own mouth to create an alternate ‘salvation’ that doesn’t require obedience to God’s Holy Word at all. This is just one of the many ways that people introduce God to their own man made salvation designed just for Him,..a salvation from looking like a big ol’ meanie in the sky, a salvation from looking like He just doesn’t understand the hearts of His own creation, a salvation from looking uncaring and unloving. It is just so blasphemous I can barely write this, I am almost breaking down with grief and sorrow as I write this. This is what happens when humans try to calibrate Jesus to themselves.

Many people demand that God accepts them the way they are, and that if He were truly loving He would see that even though they are not perfect their intentions are good, so if He were truly merciful and full of ‘grace’ He would cut them a break. These people are just sure they are a more advanced form of Christian than those ‘Bible thumpers’ because they understand people and they ‘get’ peoples hearts because in their own mind God has made them so loving and kind. In fact if they were in charge of the Universe there would be no need for judgment of any kind because they would just love everyone into tears and reconciliation with Heaven and there would be teddy bears, and rainbows, and chocolate for everyone.

Listen to me! I will say this really, really clear, Jesus may love you the way you are, but He does not accept you the way you are. If He did there would be no need for salvation, and no change would be required from us to receive eternal life or a relationship with God. The goal of the Word of God isn’t to get God to accept us the way we are, it’s to reveal to us God and His ways so that we will do something very, very, very, necessary! We need to accept God the way He is! This is true worship!

God has never told us that He will accept us the way we are, and He has been very clear about the fact that a relationship with Him involves us constantly changing as we continually learn to come into alignment with His Word, His ways, and HIS HEART,…because our hearts are, as the Bible says, desperately wicked(Jeremiah 17:9). In other words in order to have a relationship with God and to receive salvation we MUST change and we must change in accordance with His Word. He loves us so much that He gave us the life and the blood of His own Son so that we would even be able to be made clean so that we would have the privilege to obey His Word,…We must be cleansed by the Blood of Jesus and obey the Word of God and then and only then can we be made acceptable in His site.

Hell is full of people that Jesus loves, the reason that those people ended up in hell isn’t because Jesus didn’t love them it’s because they rejected Jesus, because they couldn’t accept Him the way He is. The Bible even says that we can do many great things in the name of Jesus and still not know Him because we are lawless(do not obey His commandments, or heed His Word). Consider Matthew 7: 21-23.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.” Matthew 7:21-23

The people speaking to Jesus on judgment day in this passage are saying that they operated in the power of God in the name of Jesus apparently they were doing this to glorify God(how many today even do this?) So what were the reasons Jesus gave that they would not enter into Heaven? I mean after all isn’t every one who calls on the name of the Lord saved just as Acts 2:21 says??? Well there is alot I could say about Acts 2:21 in fact that is a whole teaching and that is another day but basically in Matthew 7: 21-23 Jesus says with His own mouth that not everyone who calls Him Lord will be saved. The people in this passage speaking to Jesus were serving Jesus in accordance with their own ideas of the way they should serve the Lord. They had their own ideas as to what was pleasing to God. Does that mean we shouldn’t cast out demons, heal the sick, and prophecy? Are we somehow more likely to avoid judgment if we just ignore the power of God as a part of our testimony all together? Of course not, we should do all those things because those are some of the things Jesus taught us to do as followers of Him. In fact the power of God is part of the very Gospel message itself, and those who really follow Jesus will run right into the power of God anyway it is inevitable. So what are the reasons that Jesus calls these people workers of iniquity and tells them to depart from Him? Well basically Jesus gives three reasons, 1) Only those who do the will of the Father will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. 2) Jesus never actually knew them. 3) They practiced lawlessness.

I want to take a look at these three reasons that the people in this passage will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but as usual my fingers are getting a little long winded, and this article is getting a little long. These three reasons are so important because it helps us identify what it means to be in calibration with the Word of God and with the will of God in ways we may not have considered. Also it seems that many will go to judgment day thinking they are right on with God and they really aren’t so right on. Some feel that the manifestations of power in their life are the evidence that they are in alignment with God and some feel that their character and their version of love is the evidence that they are right with God. This is why I really want to finish examining what Jesus had to say to the people standing before Him on judgment day, because honestly I really do not want to be standing with that crowd at that moment, and I tell you the truth, I have stood in that place many times in my life and it was really easy to get there. So I will finish the calibration block with a part three,…and yes I WILL finish it in part three(Lord willing).

The calibration block (part 1)

It has been some time since the Holy Spirit has revealed anything to me by way of a vision. Usually He deals with me through revelation of the Word of God (the Bible). I have spent most of my Christian life walking in the gift of teaching, and even though I have been used in the prophetic, and at times have been consumed by the prophetic, I have always loved the teaching. I especially love the kind of teaching that proves the Word of God to be exactly what it claims to be. I love to show people the scientific, the archaeological, and the Bible prophecy that proves that the Word of God is accurate and indisputable. I think however that I have loved teaching so much because it is safe, comfortable, and rewarding even when the message is challenging to the point of searing. Because when you are teaching you can usually point to a source of your teaching and ultimately the responsibility of your words lands on the origin of the message. For example if I am teaching the ten commandments and someone hates the fact that the ten commandments tells you that adultery is wrong. Then, even though I am teaching the Word,….it is God’s Word and not mine, even if I believe it so much that it is a part of my own DNA. And therefore that persons problem is with God and His Word and not me personally. So in that respect teaching seems so much more ‘safe’ than prophecy does. Because there is no way for me to prove to you the source of my prophetic revelation or word.

The one thing I can tell you when gauging whether what you have just heard is a true word of prophecy or a revelation by the Spirit is to look at the motivation of the word. Is the word expressing God’s desires? Is it a call for people to return to the Lord? Or to come into alignment with His Word? Is the word calling people to draw closer to the Lord by walking in His ways fulfilling His desires? Is it an encouragement to continue to do the things that please the Lord? Or a rebuke causing us to turn from sin that is destroying our communion with the Lord? Or is the ‘word’ a message that pets the flesh desiring to please men and not God? Causing people to become pleased with the speaker of the word, for the personal gain of the speaker. I say all of this because the first half of the calibration block message will not be as full of the Word as I am used to posting, even though the second half will be chopped full of the usual weight of scripture. So as you read this or any other message from someone speaking a prophetic word or revelation please always consider motivation as one of the discerning factors. Of course there is no replacement for discernment that comes from the Holy Spirit Himself, and if your spiritual ears have become attuned to His voice then He will guide you. As Jesus said to His disciples, “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you. John 16:12-15

So I am going to begin this teaching by relaying something the Holy Spirit spoke to me back in 2003 that has changed the way I think and the way I teach ever since that time. In 2003 I was working the graveyard shift at a Titanium casting facility in Central Oregon. I worked in the straightening department where we would re-align the castings structurally according to exacting blue print specifications. It is a very technical job as it has to be, because many of those castings are for aircraft that the lives of many people will depend on being structurally sound. So the specifications are very tight and the quality control very rigid. One of the tools we use to measure the castings with is a large rock table made of solid granite usually very thick, very large, very heavy, and, very precise. The surface of the table is usually within a flatness of at least .001 thousandths of an inch. So basically if you divided an inch up into a thousand equal pieces the entire surface of your table should be accurate within the tolerance of one of those little thousandths. The table has to be that flat as much of the measuring equipment used to evaluate the castings will be set up on the granite rock which will ensure an accurate reliable measuring of the castings.

I tell you about the table only to tell you that at break time I didn’t really want to go to the break room so I just sat back in my chair and put my feet up on the rock, it doesn’t hurt the rock, but wow what an expensive foot rest. As you can guess there is some significance as to what I am about to share and having my feet up resting on a rock of this kind. As I was was sitting there the Holy Spirit spoke something to me in that quiet moment. He asked me to identify all the different kinds of measuring equipment we had in that facility. Oh wow! there are so many different kinds of measuring tools it would have taken me all night to track them down. So I began to relay in my mind all of the different measuring tools we had in the building. Some of the tools are very cheap, inexpensive, easy to find tools, and some of the measuring tools are hundreds of thousands of dollars and very large requiring specifically trained operators to use them. And there are some measuring tools that get used constantly having to be replaced from time to time for wear and others that almost never see use for years, those tools usually have very specific purposes. But there is one thing all these tools have in common and it is what the Holy Spirit asked me about next.
After I had gone through countless different types of measuring tools(I still wasn’t done) the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “now calibrate them”.
For those of you not familiar with the process of calibration it is simple and it is the one thing that must happen to ALL measuring tools or they will not be valid, usable tools. To calibrate a measuring tool you must measure a very specific set of precision ground blocks with the tool that is requiring calibration. There are at least seven blocks in most sets of calibration blocks. The measuring equipment must be tuned in perfect alignment with the calibration blocks so that the equipment will measure accurately when it is use. If the tool for some reason cannot be calibrated it must be thrown away or repaired no matter how expensive it is because it is no longer a reliable tool of measurement as it is not in alignment with the calibration blocks.
Here’s the clincher and you don’t want to miss this, the calibration blocks are called ‘The master set’ and they are known as ‘the standard’. That’s when the Holy Spirit spoke to me concerning Jesus showing me that Jesus is the standard and the Master!
It was then that I realized that I was being shown that all of those measuring tools were like all of the people who are following Jesus. Some great, some small, some of great apparent value, and some some not considered very valuable, some were used all the time, some used hardly ever. Also The tools are of many different configurations just like Christians are all gifted uniquely and differently. However like the measuring equipment, unless we are in alignment with the Master or ‘The Standard’ we are good for nothing to the Lord any more no matter how great our giftings, or abilities, or influence.
In other words we must be in perfect alignment with Jesus Himself or we are not really, truly followers of His. As Jesus said in the book of John, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:5-7

The Word of God (The Bible) tells us who Jesus is. In the ‘Old Testament’ there was prophecy of the coming Messiah and a revealing of the heart of God Himself and what He calls righteousness. In the Gospels we read the stories of Jesus and we read His very own Words telling us who He is, what He wants us to be, and what we can expect if we follow Him. And even in the Book of Revelation we read Jesus Words to John as He is speaking to John the messages He had for the Christians of seven major Churches, words that still ring true to our Churches today concerning the desire of Christ for those that follow Him. We need to understand that Jesus was teaching us to be just like Him, obviously we are not Jesus, but He wants us to be like Him. We are to follow Him in every respect that He Himself taught us to. He didn’t teach a special Gospel that was only relevant to the people of His day on Earth and another Gospel for the ‘modern Church’. As Jesus said in Matthew 10:24 “The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master. So there is no ‘advanced’ Gospel for those who become to great to follow the simplicity of the message that Jesus gave us to preach and the power He gave us to preach it with.

Peter understood this when he was in a boat rowing across the sea of Galilee during a storm. He and the Disciples all saw someone walking across the sea in the storm, they were so afraid of what they saw that they thought it was a ghost. That is when Jesus told them, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Peter, upon hearing this and knowing Jesus as closely as he did said to Jesus, “Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” Why would Peter think that if it was Jesus He would want Peter to do exactly what He was doing?
Now this is the one word answer that chokes me up every time. Jesus answered Peter and said, “Come”. What Jesus was doing was unheard of and unless it was recorded in the Bible we would have never believed that Jesus would have performed such a sign. But not only did He do it, but he was more than happy to call any disciple that dare do what they were supposed to do, and get out of their safe little boat and get into the scary water and follow Jesus while doing the absolute impossible. And why? Because Jesus did it, and He wants us to follow His words and His actions as true followers of Jesus Christ.

An urgent message every American needs to hear

This is a recording by a guy named Lindsey Williams. Lindsey was a Chaplain on the Alaskan pipeline for three years. During that time he made friendships with many of the global elites who have massive interests in global oil control(as well as total control). One of those elites recently died at 87 years old, before dying he told Lindsey to tell the World all he knows. There are many more CD’s by Lindsey that go into greater detail and info evidence, but this is a great short compiling of much of that information. Lindsey like most preachers sometimes gets a little long winded but what he tells it like it is. Lindsey has been doing this for years and now many respect the fact that if Lindsey says its going to happen then its going to happen. Not because hes so smart or so prophetic but because he is very well informed. His motive, he really does love his Country and cares about the people in it, and he wants his Nation to return to Christ.
You definitely want to hear the whole recording even if you can only hear it parts at a time, because some of your questions about earlier comments that Lindsey makes get answered in later dialog. This recording was made in December so you can already see much of this is already happening. Please watch. And as Lindsey says copy this and give it away,…alot! And if you listen to the entire message please prepare your family in all the ways Lindsey is prescribing. Number one Get your house in spiritual order, many of you have already heard the Holy Spirit speaking this to you for a couple of years now,..with URGENCY! Do it, keep your family in the Word and in prayer. Have days of prayer and fasting in your home, honor the Sabbath, make that day holy unto the Lord and have everyone in your house honor the Lord that day. Get rid of all the garbage from hell in your home such as the worshiping of worldly idols,…in other words,…get your house in order. There are many other things but I’ll let Lindsey say them. I will also post some links to some other sites where you can get, listen to, or watch Lindsey Williams.

You can but Lindsey’s CD’s at this survival site if your not big into making copies(a little spendy)  3 part CD series

This is part 1 of an 8 part series(all can be found with this video), the parts are divided into ten minute segments because of youtube parameters.   The non-energy crisis (part 1of8)

Fishermen Fish,..or do they?

I still have a couple more of the old blogs that I really liked before I get into the new stuff,..and there is a lot of new stuff.

This is a compiling of a post that I put up on FaceBook, thought it was cool how it came together.

 Fishermen Fish... Or Do They?

Fishermen Fish,..or do they?

Fishermen catch fish by definition, it would be strange to find a person calling themselves a fisherman who never catches any fish nor has any desire to do so. What if you had an entire building full of people just like this who meet once a week in the name of being fishermen and to talk about catching fish,…but yet they never do it,..and in fact they steer clear of those who do,….and,….they even hate the smell of fish.
To further make this phenomenon strange, these very same ‘fishermen’ have fishing conferences once or twice a year to teach them how to fish better and to honor a few people who still fish(but just not where they can be seen).
Stranger yet is that they like to keep just a couple of token fishermen in their population(usually young people), they define these people as ‘immature’ and ‘radical’ because they are fishermen who still actually catch fish. The ‘radical’ or employed of the ‘mature’ fishermen usually find their best efforts are spent creating other new fishermen who learn the maturity of not fishing.
There is a lot more I could say about this but I’m tired it’s late and a new fishing season is about to start.
I’ve heard rumors that this will be one of the last fishing seasons ever,….if you’ve never caught any before you might start sharpening your hook, and preparing your net, maybe you have talent at fishing,…..and you definatly don’t want to get caught burying your talent.

….A few posts later,….
You will notice that most people have no problem telling you what they think is a good product to buy, and use, and why it is soooo good. Some people tell you all about their favorite sports team and why they are the best, and why they believe in their sports team so much.
People tell you about the things that are important to them, they tell you about the things they believe in, and they tell you what works. How can a people testify to you something they don’t believe in, something that really isn’t that important to them, or something that that don’t think actually works? I guess my biggest question is this,…If you don’t catch fish and have no desire to do so, are you really a fisherman at all?
The desire to ‘catch fish’ really is kinda like the fruits of the Spirit. You can’t make the fruits on your own, but if Christ is really in you they will not be able to be stopped from growing on you. In the same way If Christ is really in you you will not be able to stop revealing Him to everyone around you. And thus Christ will make us fishers of men(if we are really in Him).
Its funny but many ‘Christians’ will say that sharing your faith is some kind of special gift and that it may take training to walk in the gift properly,…and yet, look how many in the Bible after being touched by Jesus became instant evangelists for the Kingdom. It was a demon possessed man who was cured by Jesus that brought the cities of the Decapolous to Jesus when they originally told Jesus Himself to leave. I guess he didn’t need a ‘download’ from a conference, he just needed to believe in, be full of, and empowered by,…Jesus.

Fundamental terror,..really?

I wasn’t going to write about this but I really feel compelled to write about the massacre that occurred yesterday in Norway. I believe this was a turning point in the events leading up to the final end time events as described in the Bible. This morning when I first read the news about the attack I was surprised to see already that the attacker was pegged as a ‘right-wing’, ‘anti-Muslim’, gun club member. It seemed odd to me that they already had that kind of information about the man and that it was the first thing they wanted to say about him. I could already tell that this attack was going to be used politically to begin targeting and singling out certain types of people in society. I mean it wasn’t hours after the tragic deaths of over 80 young people and the topic they want to print in the news is the political and philosophical views of the killer? I knew as soon as I made the connection that it wasn’t going to be more than a day or so and they would peg the guy as a ‘Christian’ and of course we all know that ‘right wing’, ‘anti-Muslim’(this label is for anyone that is against Islamic agenda), gun owning, Christians are prone to be mass murdering terrorists.

Sure enough, a couple of hours after I first read the article I typed in a search for ‘Fundamentalist Christian’,…The Norway incident was the first topic on the Yahoo search engine. And of course there was the Article, ‘Norway suspect Fundamentalist christian’. This is a sign of the times folks, things are speeding up. In Nazi Germany the persecution of the Jews began with the German Government identifying the Jews as a problematic people. In our times it will be ‘Fundamentalist Christians’ who are identified as the problem. Why ‘Fundamentalist’? Because they will want to exclude from persecution all the ‘trendy Christians’ who are at peace with the New World Order and the New World Religion. In fact those kinds of Christians will want to promote and be a part of an all inclusive New World Religion, a religion that says there are many paths to God and that Jesus is only one of the many ways, you know, because they are so loving and peaceful. But the Fundamentalist,…eeeewwww, those are the evil Christians that believe Jesus is the Truth the Life, and the Way and that no one comes to the Father(God) except by Jesus. Fundamentalist believe that the Bible is literally true, and that the Word of God is to be believed as it is written. Why Fundamentalists are ‘extreme’. You know, those Christians who believe that their relationship with God and their loyalty to Gods Word comes first and foremost over and above any other loyalty including that persons loyalty to their Government. Yep those guys are going to be a problem for the anti-christ because they will expose all of his evil stuff as long as they are given a voice or a pen(or a computer). So they will have to be silenced. The Bible says that in the last days the beast will make war with the saints and overcome them.

It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints. Revelation 13:7-10

The Bible also says.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. Revelation 12:11

So which is it? Do we overcome him or does he overcome us? Well…How did it look when Jesus overcame the devil? Did it look like winning to the natural eye? We now know about the resurrection and all the hope and promise that came out of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus,..but,…did it look like winning while He was on the cross?

Take a look at this verse.

When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also. Revelation 6:9-11

So who are these ‘fellow servants’ who had to be added to the number of the saints that had already been martyred? These are identified as ones who like their brethren had been slain because of the testimony of God. But we need to remember the Bible also says,…

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:13-17

This is the victory!

I didn’t want to let the day go by without saying that another veil has been broken and a new day has dawned and the end times are coming at a high rate of speed. I have just a couple of questions for all of us. Is the testimony we maintain enough for us to be killed as a ‘radical fundamentalist’? Do we love our Earthly lives to much to obey the Word of God? Will we be able to say no to the mark of the beast(the chip) even though it means our life here on Earth is ruined? Do we preach a message, and believe the Word in a way that will eventually cause us to be marked for persecution and even death by the anti-christ and his Government?
Get ready it is a new day, time to put ALL of our faith in the Word of God and His promises.

Here are links to the articles concerning the massacre and the connections the media made between the actions of the killer and his ‘status’ as a right wing, anti-Muslim, gun owning, Fundamentalist Christian.

Right wing, anti-Muslim, gun club member…..

Fundamentalist Christian…….

This makes a lot more sense. In the killers own words, but it also begs the question: what is the media trying to do here?…………

Just copy and paste the links.

What are we hoping on?

I wanted to put out a couple more of my favorite blogs from the past before moving on with new things, so two or three more and then ,…forward.

What are we hoping on?

If I was given a choice between a guaranteed 500 million dollar lottery ticket, or the promise of the return of Jesus Christ and the establishing of His eternal Kingdom,….which one would I put my faith in to save me from all of my problems? Sounds easy enough to answer,…but too often I notice that myself and others look at financial salvation as the answer to our problems. Do we really believe that Jesus is our salvation? Do we believe Him enough to lose this life for His sake and bank all of our chips on His promise?
So many of us say, “if I just had the funds I could freely minister”,…oh yeah,…freely minister what? If what we have wasn’t obtained by faith then how are we supposed to minister faith to other people? Faith is the substance(real stuff) of things hoped for, the evidence(the physical manifestation) of things not previously seen. How are we supposed to minister this kind of faith while all the time operating out of things we can already see? No one hopes for things that are already realized.

Faith is strengthened by bringing into existence those things that we only hoped for and yet put our trust in God’s ability(not ours) to obtain them.
In the same way, how are we supposed to minister faith all the while believing that the main purpose of God’s salvation is to bring us is a better life on Earth? Aren’t we Ambassadors from another Kingdom? Are we homesick? Or have we come to love this world so much that our request of God is to make us happy here.
Well,…nothing lasts forever in this world,….everything dies here, and therefore as negative as I sound saying this,…there is no hope here. 500 million dollars won’t even last forever. So what then, do we walk around with our heads hung to the ground, sad because we lose our life on Earth when we walk with Christ? No! We are to come alive in the Kingdom of God, we are to make the Kingdom of Heaven our residence and Earth is just a camping trip. After all a few million years from now Earth will have seemed like a short camping trip.
Lets put our hope in things that do not perish instead of putting our hope on things that will become dust.

Is the Kingdom of Heaven real to us? Is it so real we will put all of our hope in the promise that God has given us that one day we will be with Him in His Kingdom forever? Is the promises of God our hope? Is He our lottery? Once we are with Him there will never be any need, or want, or fear, or sorrow, or suffering, or pain. But instead we will be with Him in more glory, and passion, and wonder, and excitement, and creative explosive expression, and awe,….FOREVER! Do we really, really hope on this?

Is now the time?

Is now the time???

The bride is now beginning a shift, most of the Church is beginning to see that the end is approaching on a new and faster timeline. I thought I would chime in with just a couple of things(although not everything) that reveals that this day like no other is the time for the end of the ages and that the stage is already set.

For one, many people will say that the spirit of anti-Christ has risen many times before but the end of the ages did not come in their day. This is true but the answer to that is a very simple one,….crucial end time prophecies had not yet been fulfilled during the times of those anti-Christ leaders. For example lets take a leader like Adolf Hitler, He did carry the spirit of anti-Christ and had fulfilled some of the prophecies of the coming anti-Christ he even escaped a failed assassination bombing where it was rumored that he actually died but managed to revive, this is why his later pictures show damage to one side of his face. Many thought Adolf Hitler was the prophesied anti-Christ, but in a closer examination of his time and day we realize that this was impossible,…why? Because we know that before the anti-Christ comes, Israel will be reformed to become a Nation again after its long exile,…..this had obviously not happened in Adolf Hitlers time. But after Hitlers death, and the end of the war, and the end of the persecution of the Jews, we know that Israel once again became a Nation. We also know that the Bible says that the image of the beast will be in every household and that the anti-Christ will be able to speak to the entire world simultaneously. Obviously this was not possible in Hitlers time. But today with satellite television, and computer technology,….it is possible. We know that the anti-Christ will force the people of the world to receive a mark that will contain the number 666 and that without this mark the people will not be able to buy or sell anything,….well,….check out the MSN list of top 20 technologies that we will see in 2010. That’s right the implantable identification chip for humans(veri-chip) made number 2 on the list, the chip uses the old technology of the bar code for initial access to the chips data bank,…and,…the verification of the bar code is,….you guessed it,…six hundred and sixty six. Those are just some of the technologies and events that point to this day and time being different than any of the other times that the spirit of anti-Christ arose. This is why those times could have never been the stage for the events of the last days, why just imagine the anti-Christ trying to build the prophesied new temple in Jerusalem before the re-establishment of the state of Israel. It would have been like building a golden palace in the middle of the desert, no one would have even been interested in such a venture at that time,….but now,….it will be one of the biggest events in modern history,…and the moment when the anti-Christ stands on the mercy seat and proclaims himself to be the Messiah will probably be one of the most televised moments of all time.

Look at just a couple of other examples of the worlds readiness to receive the anti-Christ and to embrace the events of the last days.
Just look at the relationship between Barak Obama and Oprah Winfrey,….sounds like nothing right? Well lets examine it for just a minute. Oprah Winfrey has become one of the greatest spiritual leaders in American history,…not that it’s a good thing. She has had more popularity and acceptance as a spiritual leader in our nation than just about any other Pastor, Teacher, Evangelist, or messenger of any kind. She has also twisted and perverted true Biblical doctrine to the delight of many luke warm ‘Christians’ in America and across the globe.
Now what does that have to do with Barak Obama and the end times,…well,…Oprah Winfrey layed down her own super star celebrity status, and her own image of greatness to support Barak Obama, she did not exalt herself but rather poured her own resources into Barak Obama while humbly sitting in the crowd watching him become the President of the United States. What does that have to do with the end times? Well, it shows us a condition,…it shows us that the world is now ready to receive the pattern of the false prophet and the anti-Christ. The false prophet will be a great spiritual leader who will perform many great miracles and deceive many, but he will lay down his own greatness to exalt the anti-Christ, and the world is now displaying its hunger and willingness to see that happen.
Barak Obama now gives speeches in which he mocks the Bible and teachings of the Bible, he openly calls for a one world religion where we can all come together over common teachings of every spiritual discipline(ironically so do many of our churches). Just like Oprah Winfrey, Obama rejects the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, and he makes it well known that that kind of thinking is not only discouraged, but he purveys the idea that it is immoral. And guess what,….America loves it so,….including so many ‘Christians’.
It is clear to me that the times, the technology, and the mindset of society, is all saying now is the time,….where do you think we are???

The Lawless and the Word

October 3, 2009
The Lawless and the Word
Man, I am really in a state of agitated, irritated, dismay. The youth of the Church have so been indoctrinated in the ‘new’ thing that they have forgotten the straight path. Most of them don’t know their Bible they can’t stand to hear it quoted and they are so full of the ear tickling garbage that they get at conferences that they cannot endure sound doctrine. They think they have intimacy with God because they sing songs to Him a couple of times a week, and yet they do not think knowing the Word of God has anything to do with intimacy.

I mean, if the person you loved most in the world were to die and leave you a long passionate love letter,….would you never read it? Jesus physically left us 2000 years ago to be at the right hand of the Father interceding for us, He left His Word and the Holy Spirit of God with us. His Word is the only written letter we have from the one we say we love the most. And yet can we claim we have intimacy with Jesus Christ if we don’t even care to read the letter He left us before He left this World? THAT’S INSANE!

He told us how to live, what to hope for, what to do while He was gone, what He wants to find us doing when He gets back, what to expect if we live for Him, what the promises are to those that will follow Him, ect, ect, ect. If we were true lovers of Jesus Christ we would be quoting His Word like a first language. We would pattern our lives after the Word that He gave us, we would live as if the Word He spoke was absolute truth(because it is).

Instead the youth and most of the Church today quotes musicians, movies(which most are from hell), politicians, ‘prophetic’ icons, and any other God they serve other than Jesus Christ. These idolatrous people don’t seem to know that their lack of love for the Word of God stems from the very fact that they don’t really love the author of that Word. In fact Jesus was the Word(John 1) so you can’t even separate Jesus from the Word itself.
The youth and most of the church today seem to think that someone who teaches and quotes the Word of God is ‘religious’ and therefore in order not to be religious we need to delve in relative truth rather than in the absolute truth of the Bible.

With the percentage of abortion and divorce being as high right now in the Church as it is in the world it is easy to see that the Church has openly strayed from absolute truth and because of this they cannot stand on the Word of God to justify their ways. So they accumulate unto themselves false teachers and prophets in accordance with their own desires to tickle their ears all the way to hell. Not able to endure the sound teaching and doctrine of the Word of God. I think most of the Church has errantly come to the place of believing that living your life according to the Word of God is like living your life according to the law( the way they did under Moses), and that we are under grace and not the law.

They say that their lawless way of life is ‘freedom’ and that the Holy Spirit is leading them so they don’t need to live by the Word. Wow,….well after looking at the statistics,…it looks like their version of the Holy Spirit is leading them into Godlessness,….doesn’t sound like the Holy Spirit I know. I mean does true freedom in the HOLY Spirit of the Living God lead to divorce, and killing unborn human children? Yes it is true we are not under the law but we are under grace, and what is grace? Grace is a power by which we overcome sin,…under grace the law of God is written on our hearts. Under grace we have power to live out the law of the Word of God. Many will say, “the law is dead and we don’t need the Word to lead us!” Many think Jesus will receive them into heaven because they are so loving(oh puhleeeze), but just look at this,…..

Jesus said,…”Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your name perform many miracles?’
” and then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me you who practice LAWLESSNESS.’

What! Jesus actually cares whether you are lawless or not? Hmmmm I guess thats why He said ” I did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it”.

Pleasure as a purpose?

Pleasure As A Purpose

Pleasure As A Purpose

A few years back I went through a season of posting short blog posts that had a lot of punch to them. These posts were as much revelation to me as they were to others. So for the next week or so I thought I would post a few of these, I hope you find as much insight and truth in them as I have. If you have had similar revelation please feel free to post.

Pleasure as a purpose?

I exist for His purposes and to make Him happy, I think I have gotten that twisted and turned around in my life. Unfortunately to get it turned back around and into right order seems to take more of a miracle then healing the sick or casting out demons.

How ridiculous to think that ministering to others is going well when I am getting personal pleasure out of it,…and if I am not,…well, than it just can’t be God’s will can it.(Jonah thought this way)

Jesus said, “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad for your reward in Heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the Prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11,12
I realize that it is IMPOSSIBLE to live in Matthew 5:13-16 if you don’t live in 11 and 12,…absolutely IMPOSSIBLE.
How many however, including myself have said,..or thought, that persecution was a sign that I was doing something wrong, and that having all men speak well of me was a sign of spiritual maturity, that I had learned to say things in a way that people could ‘receive it’. What a lie!
I mean Jesus also said, ” Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets in the same way.” Luke 6:26
I guess for today without getting lengthy I’ll just say that God does not exist for my pleasure and that my pleasure is not His purpose.
Because for one, God knows that eternal pleasure is already set up for me, so why would He want me to spend my life trying to obtain something that is already guaranteed?

Jesus was the Lord of Glory long before He came to Earth. He left all of that to come here for a life as a human so that He could become our sacrifice,….think about that,….how pleasurable would it be to live understanding that God’s ultimate purpose for your life was to be brutally torn to shreds as a sacrifice for the sins of other people when you hadn’t committed any sins of your own?
Yes I understand there was a resurrection,…but even Jesus was so horrified by His calling that at one point He asked God if there was any other way,….save me from this!
This makes me realize that if I am going to be a light in this World, my own pleasure is going to have to stop being my purpose. And the insane sickness of believing that God’s ultimate purpose for my life is my own personal pleasure,….well that is open sin and must die at the cross of Jesus.
As Jesus said, “if the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.”
